Founded in 2011, the Compagnie Thomas Guérineau has created seven shows combining music and juggling. These works are the result of a collaboration with the author, director, musician, juggler and dancer Thomas Guérineau, who calls his practice musicaljuggling.Thomas Guérineau's artistic work is organized around three elements taken in a raw sense : the sound, the body and the objects. He defines his work as abstract in the sense of "non-narrative", or hyper-realistic. Indeed, during his compositional work, he does not use any symbolic concept, fiction or other metaphorical principle. The sound is taken in its essence as well as the objects and the bodies according to musical and choreographic principles which aim at propelling their essence and making them more existing.
The work developed by the Compagnie Thomas Guérineau revolves around 2 axes :
the creation and the diffusion of the shows it produces in Africa, France and abroad with a concern of creating privileged links with the professional network of music, dance, circus arts and generalist ;
> the training of professionals and amateurs in music, dance and juggling in Africa and France.

In 2011, Thomas Guérineau is invited by the Franco-Mozambican Cultural Center to train young Mozambicans in the practice of musicaljuggling. Three years later, as part of the Africolor festival, the show Maputo-Mozambique is created. This one-hour show, with 4 performers, mobilizes the art of singing, percussion, movement and juggling. Singing, vocal percussion, juggling balls bouncing on percussions, and other manipulations of rhombs create sound, body and plastic images. A raw experience at the borders of music, dance and juggling. Maputo-Mozambique has performed more than 220 times, in France and abroad, in renowned venues.
In 2020, the Compagnie Thomas Guérineau creates Rêverie, a one-hour piece for two juggling-musical performers in which he performs alongside Dimas Tivane (a Mozambican artist he trained in 2011).
Since 2021, Thomas Guérineau has been training women artists and basketball players in Mali to his musicaljuggling practice. This training will lead to a show (creation in March 14, 2024) of musicaljuggling worked with basketball. The show will include 6 performers and will last about an hour.
