This opus is the second to be inspired by the theme of migration....."We, musicians of Akpé Motion, look at ourselves as citizens of the world andconsider migration as an act of emancipation, a cry of freedom, the expression of an unheard will that commands admiration.
In its positive sense, migration can also mean the search for discovery, the desire of sharing, of making with others…
This is what we are lucky to experience when we tour on other continents...."

Migrations 2 is a token of solidarity, an attempt to widen our imagination toward a resolutely positive vision of the world and of the humanity.
It is so through the narrator’s words in the CD, and because we think that the music that we play is inspired by jazz, but also rock and world music.
At last, it is also so through the choice of Akpé Motion’s guests : an African singer, three American musicians : a rapper, a slammer, a trumpet player, all of them willing to play their part in a common work imprinted withhumanism."..
